SEVENTEEN emerged as the top winner at the 2023 Mnet Asian Music Awards (MAMA) held at Tokyo Dome, Japan over two nights on November 28 and 29. They secured five awards, including Album of the Year for FML, Best Male Group, Best Dance Performance Male Group for Super, Bibigo Culture & Style, and Worldwide Fans' Choice. NewJeans was a strong contender, receiving four awards at the event. They were recognised as Artist of the Year and won three awards for their hit song Ditto - Song of the Year, Best Female Group, and Best Dance Performance Female Group.
