Nampa residents to see increase in sewer bills due to wastewater plant improvements

NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) Nampa residents will see an increase in their sewer bill starting next month. Residents voted to approve a sewer revenue bond to pay for mandatory improvements to the wastewater treatment plant in May of 2018. The bill for that bond is now here.

Residents voted to approve a sewer revenue bond to pay for mandatory improvements to the wastewater treatment plant in May of 2018. The bill for that bond is now here.

According to the City of Nampa, construction on the plant is scheduled to be completed in 2025. A release from the city says that residential customers could expect an increase of approximately $8.55 per month, or 16.75%, beginning on Oct. 1, 2023.
