Kerry Dale Earnhardt was born on 8 December 1969, in Kannapolis, North Carolina, USA. He is a retired NASCAR driver, but perhaps best known as the elder son of the seven time Winston Cup Series winner Dale Earnhardt. He was also a consultant for Dale Earnhardt, Inc. His son is also a race driver, and competes as a part of the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. All of his efforts have helped put his net worth to where it is today.

In the 1990s, Earnhardt started driving cars, and started to become interested in racing. He started racing street stocks in 1992, and would appear at various track races, and won the 1992 Rookie of the Year award. He would continue to race as a part of NASCAR for the next few years before joining the ARCA Racing Series in 2000 and 2001, winning four of his 11 starts. In 2005, he joined Billy Ballew Motorsports to race in the Craftsman Truck Series, then the following year he signed to ThorSport Racing and had his best finish at 11th. In 2007, he announced his retirement from competitive racing, working as a test driver for DEI. One of his latest endeavors is driving one of his father’s original cars, which is a No.3 1995 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.
