Furfrou arrived in Pokemon Go during the Season of Mischief’s Fashion Week event in 2021. It was the first Pokemon to have the ability to switch forms, with players able to give it one of 10 different Trims to alter its appearance.

These forms, which look similar to Go’s costumed Pokemon, are all inspired by the Furfrou styles that appeared in X & Y. Most of them are tied to specific regions or special events, so getting them all will take quite a bit of work.

Furfrou has a total of 10 forms (or Trims) including its Normal Form. While some of these forms are available worldwide, most of them are only available in specific regions.

How to get Furfrou’s Heart Trim form in Pokemon Go

In February 2022, Furfrou’s Heart Trim form will be made available for the first time ever in Pokemon Go. It works a little differently from the rest, as it’s event-exclusive instead of region-exclusive.

Trainers will need to change Furfrou’s form during the Valentine’s Day event, which begins on Thursday, February 10 at 10am and runs until Monday, February 14 at 8pm local time.

It’s unknown what will happen to the Heart Trim once this event ends, but chances are it won’t be available to unlock again until next year’s Valentine’s Day event, so it’s best to change it while you can.

How to change Furfrou’s Trim form in Pokemon Go

Changing forms works a lot like evolution.

Changing Furfrou’s form is quite simple, but just like the evolution mechanic in the game, you’ll need to have 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust saved up before you can do this.

Follow these steps to change Furfrou’s form in Pokemon Go:

  • Make sure you have 25 Furfrou Candy and 10,000 Stardust.
  • Select your favorite Furfrou (appraising is a good way to tell which one is best).
  • Tap the ‘Form Change’ button to see the Trims available in your region.
  • Choose the Trim you want and confirm your choice.

    • Now you’ll have a stylish new Furfrou to show off to the world! It will cost you the same amount of Candy and Stardust each time you change form, so make sure you’re happy with your choice before confirming.
