In Sanctuary's massive, open-world regions, there are Faded Plaques for Diablo 4 players to find. These Faded Plaques, called "Emote Shrines" by many players, offer up a riddle that you need to solve in order to gain a buff.

This article explains where all the Faded Plaques are in Fractured Peaks with known spawn locations, the solutions to their riddles (which emotes to use), and the buffs they provide.

Update on 12 July 2023: We've updated this article to reflect the latest info on Diablo 4's emote shrines.

How To Use Emotes in Diablo 4

Before we get to the Emote Shrine solutions in Diablo 4, you will need to learn how to use an Emote...

It is pretty straightforward. On PC, you can press the "E" key by default. On consoles or using a controller on a PC, press the up arrow on your D-pad. Once the correct key is pressed, a flywheel menu will open up, with three rows and 24 actions. You can rearrange these as you wish or add/remove more as you unlock new actions.

Select the Emote you wish to perform, and you will see a short character animation play, mainly with a voice line.

Below, you can find all the known riddle keywords from Faded Plaques, the buffs they provide, and the Emote you should use close to them as the solution. The information in this table comes from the excellent resource WoWHead.
