The Pokemon Company and their stubbornness with Pokemon Center MyFigureCollection.net

Greetings!

So if you notice I have a heart on my Cynthia Nendoroid in my collection, no it's not my favourite. I only put it there cause its a prized possession valuable as ever. It was hell to get her, risked buying from a scalped eBay merchant and she came genuinely and safely. There is one reason why I am in awe of this beautiful Nendoroid and her pal Garchomp, how I got her and how much I spent. Why?

I AM NOT AMERICAN

If I was born in the USA as mr. Bruce said, I would have her for ~50 bucks. cherished her by buying from the official website with no issues. But Stubbornness and the fact I'm on the other side of the damn world is why she is much more special in my house... and much more ridiculous.

Let's put it in a few dot points:

* If you are American you can buy Pokemon Center merch no issue whatsoever. No proxy needed, if you live in one of the few cities nationwide you can get in the store and just buy whatever damn pokemon you're a fan of. Everyday. Without shipping cost.

* If you are NOT American, well lets just say Masuda and co. are laughing all the way to the bank with US dollars not giving a flying fuck about their worldwide audience.

* If you love a Pokemon character dearly, you're gonna have trouble obtaining him/her going OUT of your way to secure an order REGARDLESS of brand. Want a Pokemon figure that isn't cheap Tomy shit outside of the US? GOOD LUCK.

Here's the worst bit, the part that grinds my gears the absolute most.

Remember when Pokemon Center had a Paris AND London branch? Pepperridge farm remembers. The kick in the balls here was that they were around for 2 weeks. And guess what?

* Everything was sold out in a day
* Queues were isles long to get in.

Both. Times. And what do they do? They limit shipping to US-only, when there is clearly demand in other territories.

Enough is enough, the world is bigger outside the US and Japan. Most companies know this, most companies license worldwide and allow their merch free amongst the world. Pokemon Company have done a disgusting job catering to their non-American/Japanese fans and it reallyshows. Why?

Stubbornness.

Rant over. Soz, this is probably all over me wanting to buy figma Marnie. Love you America, don't take this the wrong way plx <3
