D&D 5E - Using Sovereign Glue and Universal Solvents in potion mixing

That being said, I thought it would be interesting if they could still be used in potion mixing. Hear me out. They don't work mixed together, but if mixed with actual potions, they act as a bypass for stuff for instance. Mix US and potion of Storm Gisnt strength. On the slim chance you roll

So, I just came across the potion mixing rules in the DMG, and have been having fun thinking of ways to use it. I looked through the MI section(looking at potions), and discovered that Sovereign Glue and Universal Solvents aren't potions. This seems a bit strange to me, but I can somewhat understand the logic behind it.

That being said, I thought it would be interesting if they could still be used in potion mixing. Hear me out. They don't work mixed together, but if mixed with actual potions, they act as a bypass for stuff for instance. Mix US and potion of Storm Gisnt strength. On the slim chance you roll 00, you don't consider the US in deciding the more mundane (i.e. Auto-granting the permanation to the Storm gisnt strength). If you roll 16-25 or 91-99, the effect is also auto-granted to the SGS. Basically what I'm getting at is the Glue/Solvent simply functions as a catalyst for the chemical reaction, funneling all singular effects to the actual potion.

Obviously this wouldn't work with double dosing(drinking a potion while under the effects of another), as you would either suffocate from a glued closed throat, or your indides would get dissolved. I get that no one in their right mind would throw away SG or US like this, but hey, of your already crazy enough to mess with potion mixing...
